As winter settles across South Africa, many families, individuals, and animals face the season without the basic comforts of warmth, food, or shelter. In response, REMAX offices across the country are once again rallying their communities through the annual Coats & Cans Collection.

A longstanding tradition within the REMAX network, the campaign encourages agents, clients, and local residents to donate essential items that can make a meaningful difference during the colder months. From warm clothing and blankets to non-perishable food items and pet supplies, every contribution helps provide comfort and support where it is needed most.

"The Coats & Cans Collection is a simple yet powerful reminder that small acts of generosity can make a significant difference in someone's life. We are incredibly proud of the offices, agents, clients, and community members who continue to support this initiative year after year," says Adrian Goslett, CEO and Regional Director of REMAX Southern Africa.

Along with Remax offices nationwide, we at Remax Wine and Whales will be collecting warm clothing, blankets, canned goods, rice, pasta, cereals, long-life milk, pet food, and other essential supplies for distribution to local charities, shelters, feeding schemes, and animal welfare organisations.  Previous years have seen us able to donate to the Hermanus Night Shelter, HAWS, RAD and CJ Hawston.  We invite the local community to show their support by dropping off gently worn clothes and bedding and non-perishables at our office in Optimum Centre, 10 main Road Onrus.
